The Southwick Democratic Town Committee is the official local affiliate of the Massachusetts Democratic Party and the Democratic Party of the United States. The Southwick Democratic Town Committee was founded with two purposes: (1) electing Democratic candidates in municipal elections; and (2) sharing the ideas of the Democratic Party on a grassroots and municipal level.
The Town Committee meets the second Thursday of every month (except during July and August). The Committee may contain up to thirty-five members. Anyone who is a registered Democrat in the Town of Southwick can become a member or associate member of the Committee. Anyone can become a Friend of the Southwick Democrats.
